Pleases read the Conditions of Entry and Rules of the Show.

Obedient Pony: Enter online or at the Obedient Pony Ring on the 22nd July

  1. Horse and Pony Entries: NO ON FIELD ENTRIES with the EXCEPTION of the OBEDIENT PONY.  Online and Postal Entries close Wednesday 19th July 2023.  Fees must accompany postal entry forms.
  2. Postal entries to Kilmacanogue Horse Show, Oaklodge, Ballyross, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow.  Enquiries – kilmacshow@gmail.com or 087 463 1515

  4. Dog Show entries can be made online or on the Field.
  5. Exhibitors alone are responsible for entries.  The Committee reserve the right to refuse any entry unconditionally.
  6. Where there are 3 entries in a class 1st place prize only will be given, for 3-5 entries in a class 1st and 2nd prize will be given. For 6 or more entries 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize will be given. Rosettes will be awarded down to 6th place.
  7. The Committee reserves the right to abandon or postpone the show or cancel/alter any class.
  8. The onus is on the exhibitor/competitor to be at his/her class before judging commences.
  9. Jumping competitors must be ready to jump when called by steward.
  10. While every reasonable precaution will be taken, the Organising Committee of the Show OR the landowners cannot accept responsibility for any loss or accident to exhibits or exhibitor while in the Show Grounds.
  11. Horses must be provided with sufficient halters and caretakers must be in attendance at all times during the day.
  12. Exhibitors must comply with all Department of Agriculture rules and regulations. Equine Premises numbers and equine passport numbers must be included on Entry Form.
  13. To comply with Health and Safety regulations, competitors, exhibitors, trade stands and visitors must adhere to any safety instructions issued by stewards or officials and obey all safety signage.
  14. By taking part in this event you consent to give the event organisers full rights to use the images resulting from photography/video filming on show day, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims. This includes the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications.  You may opt out by informing event organisers in writing at comp@kilmacanoguehorseshow.com.
  15. Exhibitors accept that the judge’s decision is final in all cases.
  16. Perpetual Cups and Trophies must be returned in good condition to the secretary 1 month before the next Show Day.
